This 16-inch gold brass bead necklace matches the necklace worn by Emma Smith in the portrait attributed to David Rogers and in photographs taken of Emma throughout her adult life. A bead of her necklace was found while excavating the Mansion House privy and is on display in the museum at the Joseph Smith Historic Site Visitor Center.
